About Ana Zornig Jayme

With over 28 years of experience developing projects for the municipal government of Curitiba, I have made significant contributions across a range of areas, including urban planning and legislation, integrated multisectoral strategic project development and management, fundraising with international and national organizations, strategic decision-making, identification of public-private partnership opportunities, strategic portfolio management, long-term planning, and advancing the climate agenda. I have held various executive and leadership roles throughout my career and served as a member of numerous public policy councils. I excel at building connections and fostering collaboration, leveraging my ability to unite individuals and institutions through extensive networking and strong relationships across technical and political spheres. Notably, I was a member of the Ministry of Regional Development’s Working Group on Electromobility. I actively participate in the *Women in Motion Network*, which brings together leaders from the public and private sectors in mobility, energy, and environmental fields to amplify women's impact on transportation, energy, and sustainability agendas. Additionally, I engage with the *C40 Cities New Economies and Innovation Forum* and the *Center for Public Leadership (CLP)*, which empowers public leaders and mobilizes society and government to strengthen democracy and improve the Brazilian State’s effectiveness. I also serve as a member of the *Curitiba Open Data Committee*. Over the past four years, I have successfully raised and secured approval for approximately **US$ 285 million** in mobility and climate change projects, enabling technical cooperation initiatives focused on sustainable mobility, climate adaptation, the circular economy, and smart city solutions. Currently, I am working to secure an additional **US$ 270 million** in funding for Curitiba, aimed at advancing sustainable mobility and climate adaptation efforts.
