To supervise purchasing activities at optimum inventory level to support master production schedule. Manage suppliers’ strategy planning to achieve the company’s objectives of materials quality, cost, delivery and responsive services / support. Provide support on solving materials problems & issues- Monitoring of key commodity materials, Raw materials and components more 200 suppliers both inside and outside Thailand handle company spending around 50milion USD/year. Plan the raw materials and components requirement based upon Sales and SOIP Plan forecast potential impacts and PO issuance thru SAP system-Communicate & negotiate with suppliers for the commercial terms & conditions such as: price, ordering, lead-time, inventory level at the supplier location, price terms, payment terms, claim terms, JIT delivery, consignment stock, rebates and incentive improve supplier credit term average from 45days to 58 days payable- Communicate & assist supplier Quality Engineers & Product Engineers to ensure the successful launch of the new product- Supplier assessment gets quotation, compare, evaluate, benchmarking of products, draft standard requirement, RFQ, review contract and grading, sends warning letter for lower grade. Meet company cost reduction targets 3-5% of annual spending and track the saving for material purchasing-Standardize part packaging set up and update new packaging design with cross functional team-Improve cash flow by negotiated with key strategic suppliers to remit payment 1.0 million USD during flood and recovery period (Y2011 and Y2012)-Sourced and identify OEM for new business unit set up and launch for Kitchen and Wooden door and floor.
