About Anand Ajayan

Physicist specialising in perovskite solar cells, laser-assisted nanostructuring of superconductors, and hybrid nanofluids for PV/T applications. Experience in thin-film fabrication (FAPbI₃, triple cation), advanced characterisation (SEM, TEM, PL, UV–Vis), and device testing. Currently conducting research at the University of Zaragoza, exploring magnetic flux manipulation through laser nano-patterning. Passionate about sustainable energy conversion and functional materials research. Universidad de Zaragoza focuses on advanced superconducting technologies, leveraging research in laser nano-structuring of superconducting films to enhance material properties. Techniques like SEM, TEM, MOI, and SQUID magnetometry are utilised to characterise microstructure and magnetic properties. Numerical simulations are implemented to analyse low-temperature resistivity and flux pinning behaviour, contributing to innovative material solutions. Previously at CSIR-NIIST, the development of deep-red emitting Zinc Gallogermante phosphors with exceptional afterglow properties was supported through doping techniques and optical characterisations using PL and UV-Vis spectroscopy. Driven by a strong foundation in physics from IISER, Thiruvananthapuram, competencies include spectroscopy techniques and material innovation for energy and superconducting applications.
