About Anand Kumar Soshee

Anand obtained his PhD in Biotechnology for his work on DNA fingerprinting and Diagnostics, later extended his research career in health care related projects. While working at international Universities and Institutes In Europe (France, Ireland and Norway) he extensively used Phage display and Directed Evolution methods to develop peptide and antibody molecules for diagnostics and therapeutic purposes. While working at NTU, Singapore he focused his interest on Collagen, laminin and integrins which are Extra Cellular Matrix proteins (ECM) associated with many diseases. This motivated his entrepreneurship ability to focus on Collagen proteins responsible for fibrosis in multi organs and in 2019 he established “Medical Imaging Solutions” (MIS) headquartered at Bangalore. MIS set up an advanced 2-Photon/SHG imaging service lab incubated at ILBS, New Delhi to provide SHG imaging service coupled with AI based quantification for fibrosis staging. MIS provides complete solutions in digital pathology including instrumentation & service for whole slide imaging and advanced AI based analysis. Our collaborations with Histoindex from Singapore and PharmaNest from US allows AI based quantitative analysis of Collagen dynamics leading to fibrosis in Liver, Lung and Kidney. MIS in collaboration with KML-Vision, an Austrian MedTech company can provide custom AI development service in India in clinical and diagnostic applications.
