About Ananda Ananda

My Ph.D. is in Biomedical Engineering. Now, I am working as a senior lecturer at Politeknik Caltex Riau, Indonesia. My research focus is on combining artificial intelligence and digital image processing techniques to analyse medical images. Now I am working on problems in dermatology (dermatitis), brain tumour, child malnutrition (stunting), and the aquaculture environment. My doctoral project was a medical image analysis of wrist fractures. The focus was to make a framework of intelligent machine-based unpredictable variations of the medical images to predict further patient treatment. My research would bridge the real-life needs of quick, almost precise decisions for the patient and a better understanding of image visualisation for medical image stakeholders, which hope to reduce the repetitive procedure that wastes much time and resources. Before this doctoral stage, I was employed professionally as a polytechnic academic focusing on Digital Image Processing at Politeknik Caltex Riau in Pekanbaru, Riau, Indonesia. During this time, I had many experiences in teaching, academic management, student management, student admission, organisational campaigns, and managing international relations.
