Ananda Prem is a Spiritual Monk & Guide at ISKCON Govardhan Eco Village. Since 2016 Previous worked with TCS, Tech Mahindra, BARC, KRCL, Tata Communications. I am leading Project of called Govardhan Annakshetra - Free Food for Life Project for Needy Tribal areas of Palghar District at Maharashtra. Daily 1500+ Meals are served with a humble attempt to address the malnutrition problem affecting population of india and our leadership for providing sanctified food, which nourishes not only the body but also the mind & soul. Vision : Spreading Love by sharing sanctified Nutritious food for achieving Zero Hunger. Serving with Empathy and Care to the disadvantaged people for the improvement of their health of body & Mind by mitigating all forms of hunger and malnutrition with sanctified nutritious food. Objective : 1.Encouraging Seamless education for 8 talukas of palghar district through mod-day meals 2. Curb suicides by distributing free food to poor farmers & Laborers. Spreading peace by encouraging plant based sanctified food. Mediate opportunity for prosperous sections of society to serve the needy. Mitigating Hunger & Malnutrition in Palghar. Creating awareness of Healthy Diet. Due to low income in the region - Migration takes place. Migration in turn negatively impacts indicators as health & education, where migrants do not get sufficient government support. It forces early marriages & finally malnutrition & stunted growth & unfortunate death of children. Benefits of this project. Providing Nutritious Food to the Villagers, improves the overall health of the community around. Free Food for poor families & students - supports their farming & Education. Eradication of discrimination between caste, creed, religion. It encourages vegetarianism providing sattvic food to all - spreading peace. I have been serving at all levels - from preparation of food till reaching out to tribal areas for distribution. And also meeting people from cities for their support for this project. This FREE FOOD DRIVE is particularly important because it brings communities, companies, individuals coming together to give back to society.
