About Anandhakrishnan Baskaran

Automotive Engineering professional with expertise in Vehicle Performance Management, Energy Management, Drive Quality and Weight/Mass Engineering. Have worked in Global and reputed OEMs with career spanning over 15 years. Started my career at Ashok Leyland and worked between 2009-2013. Played key role in establishing Vehicle Dynamics Attribute development team and developed suspension tuning skills for optimal Ride and Handling behaviour of Heavy Duty Trucks. Moved to Ford and worked from 2013 to 2019 where I led VEME (Vehicle Energy Management Engineering) for Asia Pacific markets with excellent track record of launching new programs for local (India) and export markets (US, EU, MEA). Gained valuable technical and process knowledge in multiple disciplines of Vehicle Engineering (Vehicle Dynamics, NVH, Vehicle Integration, Label Engineering) by working in challenging environments and handling multiple Platform/Tophat launches. From 2019 to 2021, worked at VinFast LLC, an automotive startup in Vietnam worked as Vehicle Performance Leader (VPL) & Energy Management Leader for C/D/E Platform (ICE+BEV). As VPL, managed the health of the project by delivering VTS (Vehicle Technical Specification) to targets. As Energy Management Leader, led EMDQ, Aero, Thermal & Weight Attributes and developed the team from scratch to fully functional unit. Currently working as Vehicle Performance & Energy Centre - Senior Manager at CEER motors in Saudi Arabia, developing first home grown EV in the region.
