About Ananthu Sajeev

My name is Ananthu, and I hail from God's Own Country, Kerala. At the age of 12, I was packed away to a boarding school where I nurtured my passion for sports, debating, and quizzing. Having developed a fondness for reading in school, I pursued B. A.(English) from Kerala University. It was here that I was introduced to the magical worlds built by P. B. Shelly, John Keats, Anton Chekhov, Henrik Ibsen, and Lord Byron: poets and playwrights separated by centuries and united by their ability to mesmerize.Literature paved way for philosophy and led me to pursue M. A.(International Relations) from the prestigious Madras University. My key areas of interest included war studies, western philosophy, and strategic thought. While I was preparing for a career in academics, and even cleared an examination to be an Assistant Professor, an opportunity from Gamezop to spearhead a growth function seemed too good to turn down. I had very limited knowledge of how businesses are run but what appealed to me about Gamezop was that in times when startups pride themselves on their burn rate, here was a company that was growing fast and growing profitably. So I took the leap of faith.I was the twenty-fifth employee at Gamezop. Today, we are over 100 people.
