I started my career as a market entry strategist, helping brands expand into new regions and navigate the challenges of cross-border commerce. At The Hut Group (Myprotein), I launched and scaled operations across South Asia, first as Country Manager for Pakistan and then as Regional Manager for SAARC, overseeing P&L, compliance, customer operations, and growth strategy across complex markets. That experience building businesses in emerging markets laid the foundation for my move into Trust & Safety at Meta, where for the past four years I’ve worked on high-priority regulatory escalations involving fraud, scams, terrorism, and child safety. My work has spanned regulators, NGOs, and governments, as well as internal partners across Policy, Legal, and Ops — with a focus on safeguarding users, scaling enforcement systems, and building operational processes that withstand the pressures of global scrutiny. Across both roles, a common thread has been my ability to bridge complex challenges with scalable solutions — whether that’s launching a brand in a new market, dismantling harmful networks, or designing workflows that reduce risk and build trust. Now, as AI reshapes our world, I’m excited about applying this mix of operations leadership, regulatory expertise, and risk management to help ensure emerging technologies are safe, ethical, and trusted at scale.
