About Anas Ibrahim

You’ll always find me diving deep into the world of AI and machine learning. My journey has taken me from snagging a Ph.D. in AI, experimenting with neural networks and deep learning, Reinforcement Learning and Evolutionary Computation, to exploring novel ideas to solve complex problems. I'm part of the Castle Ridge Asset Management team, where I get to tinker with and research advanced trading algorithms, capitalizing on my skills in machine learning, Time-Series analysis, motif and pattern discovery, parallel computing, and making machines smarter. My academic journey at Western University is marked by my research contributions, including the PT-Net project for a wearable device for Parkinson's Tremor suppression. Currently, my passion lies in pushing the boundaries of AI through research and development of sophisticated AI agents. These agents are designed to excel in complex decision-making scenarios characterized by imperfect or incomplete information. This involves delving into advanced search algorithms and planning strategies, aiming to enhance the agents' ability to navigate uncertainty, adapt to dynamic environments, and make informed decisions. This work not only challenges the limits of current AI technology but also opens avenues for practical applications in various fields such as finance, healthcare, and autonomous systems.
