About Anas Shaikh

Growing up, Anas remembers watching all the television shows related to Criminal Justice so he decided why not make this his major? There were a couple of TV shows that inspired him but eventually, as he started his college career at Collin College, Anas realized that he is more interested in managing businesses and corporations because they offer a lot of roles thus leaving a variety of fields to enter into.Anas at the age of 23 is currently attending the University of Dallas, and the major he picked is Information Technology. The reason this major interested him the most was the fact that this major combines business and technology together, and Anas’ mindset is that in modern-day society, collecting data has a huge value, and is the type of technology that is demanded in both the IT field and the business field. Currently, Anas is employed at Ross for a little over a year now. He started his journey off as a cashier then promoted his way up to a Store Protection Specialist. Being around customers, he believed he really got the opportunity to improve his communication skills and with that, Anas achieved the skill of providing great customer service. In the future, these skills will help improve the skills that are required to reach industry knowledge. Some of Anas’ interests on the side are drawing, writing, and acting which require him to think outside the box. The three words that describe Anas’ personality are energetic, hard-working, bold, and passionate as he is not afraid to face new challenges in life.
