About Anastasia Mikhalitsyna

I am a qualified chartered accountant with over 16 years experience in audit and forensic accountancy practice. I have experience working for dispute resolutions and litigation support engagements, forensic investigations, and business valuation projects across the UK and developing countries, including LATAM, MENA and Sub-Saharan Africa, Russia and CIS. I focus on disputes work, producing models and calculations for damages assessment. I have experience across a wide range of industries including in oil and gas sector, telecommunications, energy and real estate and construction. I have issued expert reports in my own name and as a co-author. I am also a testifying expert and have testified in front of the arbitral tribunals in the ICDR, ICC and CCBC arbitral proceedings. I am proud to have been continuously listed in Who’s Who Legal (now Lexology) as a Future Leader since 2018 in “Financial Advisory and Valuation – Quantum of Damages” category. After gaining a degree in economics and management from the Novosibirsk State Technical University in Russia, I qualified as a chartered accountant in early 2012 at mid tier international accountancy firm in Moscow. In 2012, I left to join one of the Big Four Firms to specialise in disputes work and, after two years prior to joining Kroll, I worked at Haberman Ilett (London), which was acquired by Kroll in 2020. In 2021 I relocated from the UK to Spain and joined Kroll's Expert Services team in Madrid. I am a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). I am a native Russian speaker and am fluent in English and Spanish.
