About Anastasios Diamantopoulos

I’m a results-driven Software Director with over 20 years of experience leading high-performing engineering teams and building complex, high-impact software products across the Telecommunications and Digital Health industries. In my most recent role at ImpediMed, I have been responsible for software leadership on SOZO, a regulated, cloud-based medical device platform used globally to monitor patient fluid status and body composition. This has included coordinating end-to-end software delivery, driving cross-functional engineering execution, and implementing operational improvements to strengthen quality, compliance, and team performance. Previously, I led global R&D teams at Nokia and Nokia Siemens Networks, delivering solutions across Core Network, Cloud, VoIP, and OAM domains. I contributed to Agile transformation efforts, led innovation initiatives, and managed complex software deliveries across multiple teams and technologies. At Siemens, I led development of real-time communication protocols, and served as a global Centre of Competence for signaling. My work contributed to international product launches and Siemens AE’s CMMI Level 3.5 certification. I’m passionate about building scalable, high-quality software; mentoring engineers; and continuously improving how teams deliver in regulated, mission-critical environments.
