About Anastasios Lamproudis

With a Master of Science in Machine Learning from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, I have a strong foundation in data science, machine learning, and natural language processing. I have also acquired multiple certifications from Google Cloud and Udemy, enhancing my skills and knowledge in cloud computing, big data, and Bayesian methods.I am passionate about solving real-world problems with machine learning and data science, and I am always eager to learn new tools and approaches. As a Data Science Advisor at Norwegian Centre for E-health Research, I applied my expertise in NLP and Pytorch to build and deploy text entity recognition and pseudonymization models for sensitive clinical text, using Docker, regex, and text augmentation techniques. I also contributed to nine publications in international conferences, where I demonstrated the value of domain-specific language models for text categorization, entity recognition, ICD code assignment, and sepsis prediction in a multi-modal context using text and tabular data.
