As a Mortgage Loan Originator, Certified Mortgage Advisor (CMA) and Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist (CMPS) my goal is to help people understand how to use mortgage debt to build sustainable, lifelong wealth for them and their families. I do residential as well as commercial lending with particular emphasis in Non-QM loans and Reverse Mortgages. Non-QM loans pertain to borrowers who cannot be approved through conventional means of qualification like tax returns and income verification channels. Usually this kind of borrowers are what we call, Gig Economy workers. They are paid mostly through 1099s or have their own businesses and normally show very little income due to massive write-offs in their expense accounts. Reverse Mortgages have been known to most as a "rescue" plan. However, Reverse Mortgages are an excellent Retirement Planning tool offered to homeowners aged 62 or older. They can practically help borrowers improve their cash flow at literally any time they want. However, life is not only work! When not helping clients increase and sustain their wealth, I regularly exerscise my passion for soccer as I am coaching a Greek soccer team in the Metropolitan League called Panatha USA. During training I participate in the game myself and I can honestly tell you that this is the best time of the day! I would never say no to a good rib-eye steak. Eating out with friends is something I also enjoy doing in my free time. Friendship, loyalty, integrity, humility, honesty and compassion are the values that characterize me most. And that is also the reason why my professional relationships have become long-lasting friendships as well. I will always tell people the truth, no matter how hard it is for at the time. And I am also a great believer of luck but I almost always find the harder I work the more I have of it! In the end, in my life, as well as in my advice to my clients, taking big, unknown, unnecessary risks is not something that I am known for. But taking educated, calculated risks is something that we should all pursue in our lives. Because after all, a ship in port is safe but actually, that's not what ships are built for.
