About Anaya McClain

As a 2023 graduate of Tennessee State University with a bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance, I have developed a strong foundation in financial analysis, economics, reporting, and accounting. Currently, I work as an Accounts Receivable Analyst at Cummins, a global leader in power solutions, where I manage 8-figure business-to-business receivables accounts and ensure accurate and timely billing and revenue recognition. In my role at Cummins, I identify, recommend, and execute opportunities to enhance accounts receivable and billing processes to meet the company's finance requirements. I also reconcile customer disputes, complete forecasting and month-end reporting, and train and mentor new team members. I use my skills in Analytics, Excel, and other Microsoft programs to create and present clear and compelling reports and presentations. I am motivated by the challenge of solving complex problems and delivering value to our customers and stakeholders. I enjoy working with a diverse and collaborative team that supports each other and shares best practices. I am eager to learn new skills and expand my domain expertise in accounts receivable and billing.
