About Anco Teurlings

For personal reasons I have a compassion for inner-city redevelopment tasks where original and innovative concepts are being realized. To make that happen in the current economy, the most important thing we need to do is to listen to the demands of the end users/consumers and work proactively for a sustainable environment. During my studies and internships I gained experience in different aspects of urban development, varied from urban design to real-estate activities. In my first degree, City Planning, I developed urban design skills by making spatial advices with a liability of legislation and rules. In my bachelor degree, Build Environment and Real Estate, I mainly focused on economics and business intelligence in relation to real-estate development. In this bachelor I developed my interest in the (local) supply and demands in the real-estate market, which resulted in writing my final thesis about a consumer-oriented strategy for municipalities to redevelopment their own properties.
