About Ancy Abraham

I am a dynamic and passionate Graduate student with diversified experience, as a Teaching Assistant, Research Assistant, Intern, counselor and tutor from multiple organizations including Ryerson University Toronto, NI University, Rogersoft, STC India. After completing my Master’s in Nanotechnology from one of the top engineering universities in India, I got the opportunity to work as a Research Assistant at NIU for ISRO Respond project. This was one of my greatest learning experiences where I could learn more about the research tactics and was exposed to the challenging areas in multi-disciplinary fields. The most fascinating areas of nano research made me more interested in solar cells, sensors, system on chip (SOC), micro controllers, FPGA. The Graduate Studies in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Ryerson, a pioneer institute in FPGA and Microelectronics Research, was the stepping stone in advancing towards my goal. It exposed me to an entirely new world of SoC Design which gave me a very solid understanding of the entire chip design process and thus began my passion for integrated circuits and the desire to understand the behavior of the many tools which I used during this process. The system testing, embedded software and hardware verification was my other area of interest. My experience in production floors at Celestica, added my skill set with interpretation of schematics, process flow, debugging and trouble shooting the boards, functionality testing, firmware loading and many other process added knowledge to my design concepts. Acquiring an ISTQB certification in manual testing was an addition to my skill set The kind of exposure, training and guidance I received here from my respected Professors and colleagues has been unparalleled, both academically and personally. Now, looking for suitable opportunity in Canada, I am looking forward to learn and improve the coding and debugging skills, IC design skills, electronic design, analytical skills, embedded software development, UVM and much more along with gaining rich industry experience. A short summary of my technical skills is: Simulation Software: Lab VIEW, Mat Lab Programming Skills: C, C#, VHDL Application Development on FPGAs (Altera Quartus II)
