About Anda Bologa

Recognized by the Barcelona Centre for International Affairs as one of its “35 under 35” tech leaders, Anda Bologa is a seasoned expert in artificial intelligence and digital policy. She serves as a non-resident Fellow with the Tech Policy Program at the Center for European Policy Analysis, where she contributes thought leadership on digital policy - particularly AI governance, Central and Eastern European geopolitics, and transatlantic affairs. She has passed the New York State Bar Exam and is currently awaiting admission. During her tenure at the European Union Delegation to the United Nations, Anda led high-level negotiations on behalf of the EU, including the first UN resolution on Artificial Intelligence, the United Nations Global Digital Compact, and multiple rounds of UN budget negotiations. Her previous experience spans legal work in technology and business at Wardyński & Partners, handling digital platform cases at the European Court of Justice during her time at the European Commission’s Legal Service, and spearheading AI, cybersecurity, and digital policy initiatives at the Europuls think tank. Anda is currently completing her Juridical Doctorate at Fordham University School of Law under the supervision of Professor Olivier Sylvain. Her research focuses on artificial intelligence governance, using the United Nations’ initiatives as a case study. A Fulbright scholar, she holds Master of Laws degrees in Information Technology Law and Intellectual Property Law from Fordham University, as well as a Master of Laws in International Arbitration from Bucharest University and a Master’s degree from the College of Europe. In addition to her academic and policy work, Anda serves as an editor of the Revue Européenne du Droit, where she contributes to legal and strategic discussions on global issues from a European perspective.
