About Anda Ramadani

As a social studies teacher at Hewlett-Woodmere UFSD, I am passionate about engaging students in learning about the past and present, and how they can shape the future. I have a master's degree in history from Queens College, with a focus on British history during the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, and a bachelor's degree in history and secondary education. I have four years of classroom experience which, coupled with my training in social emotional learning, has enabled me to achieve excellence within the field. I also have experience as a private pod tutor, where I hosted a classroom of five first grade students and facilitated art, science, math, english, and social studies lessons. I have strong skills in problem solving, strategy, and leadership, and I enjoy collaborating with other educators and students. I am always eager to learn new things and explore new perspectives in my field.
