Over 20 years in IT, with over 14 years of solid database engineering experience in a large scale distributed enterprise environment. Currently working as Senior Service Engineer managing billions of trillions of transactions, and petabytes of data in Microsoft’s multibillion commerce business that supports Xbox Live, Office365, Windows Phone, Azure, Microsoft Store, Marketplace, etc… Responsibilities- Database design and administration including troubleshooting complex issues - Development of tools for automating routine and large tasks- Disaster recovery design and implementation of high availability solutions such as clustering, mirroring, log shipping, and replication in multiple data centers- Manage and monitor performance data, capacity, and security of databases- Designed and implemented a dashboard monitoring system that pulls various performance counters from production servers and provide a single place to visualize the health of the commerce system. Skills include programming in Powershell, T-SQL, C#, SSRS, and Web Design in Visual Studio ASP.Net.
