About Andelina-Marie Evans

Since 2017, I've worked in housekeeping at the hospital where I was born. This sparked my interest in healthcare jobs and led me to pursue education. Despite limited options due to my high school courses, I found NorQuest College's Medical Office Assistant certification program. After obtaining it, I discovered a passion for data entry and collection while working in registration and medical records. I excelled in analytical skills, attention to detail, and managing multiple tasks. In 2021, I pursued a Hospital Unit Clerk certification through NorQuest's bridging program, thriving in the role until Connect Care implementation in 2023 eliminated the workload. Now, I seek a career that offers continuous learning, engagement, and a sense of necessity. Health Information Management is my ideal path, but I'm open to other opportunities, including those involving travel. I'm eager to excel in the health informatics industry.
