About Ander Jackson
I am a Master of Public Health student at The Ohio State University. Studying Health Behavior and Health Promotion for my two year program.I graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Public Health. I knew that Public Health was the field for me because Public Health spoke to the passion that I have always had for helping others as well as working within communities. I have had the great opportunity to work as a student testing assistant conducting COVID-19 tests for students and staff, and faculty members. In 2021 I became a safe sleep ambassador for CelebrateONE, and in 2022 I became a research assistant with a Doctor within the College of Public Health. The focus of the research is inequalities within health insurance companies. Each of these job opportunities has prepared me with the needed skills to help aid in addressing the major health disparities in communities and specifically in minority communities.
