About Anders Emanuelsson

I am an autodidact engineer with a long working experience in the LDPE segment of the petrochemcial plastics industry. My experience is mainly from the so called dry end or down stream area of production and development of assets for production. I have had a number of roles, learning all the essentials of the trade as production operator, developing these as production engineer/specialist and finally, using the knowledge and experiences aquried from these earlier roles, working as manager and technical development specialist. During the last 15 years I have been working in the world of projects in roles like engineering manager, commissioning manager, project manager and site manager in the industrial sector, mainly in the petrochemical branch but also in the steel mill industry. Dinge November 2021 I am working as Group Expert with a leading provider of base products for the W&C industry. I always seek new professional challenges within my area of expertise and I am triggered by taking on very challening tasks. Normally, I am at my best in the execution step of a project, when the "real" action starts. My leadership is based on factors like- Commitment and persistance, i.e. the job shall be done within the given frames, fight and struggle, never ever give up whatever possible set backs - Prescence and act as an example, i.e. work hard and do long/odd hours yourself before you even ask/order your co-workers to do so. Maybe somewhat old fashion, but it is a proven road to success since many thousand years- Use the expertise and expertise of the members of your team, even if this means that you have to reveal your own ignorance in certain areas- Internal and external communication are vital for success. In at least Sweden and Norway, transparency is also a key element.
