About Anders Hidestrand

From 1st of September 2018 I´m appointed Group Data Sources and Acquisitions Manager at Bisnode. My task is to set up the process for all Bisnode data acquisitions, as well lead the team responsible for group related acquisitions. This includes support in the process for local markets. I also hold the Data Manager role for Geo and Vehicle data in Sweden (including data from the Nordics in those areas). I have been working in the Information and Data business for over 28 years, starting at the Esselte Information Group 1990. Over the years I have been both Sales man, Business man, Product Manager, Content Specialist, Content Manager and Data Manager. I have been working with both SMB deals and large accounts, as well as longterm relations with authorities and suppliers. I have taken two product lines (Real Estate and Vehicle) from revenue levels at 8-10 MSEK to levels at 30-40 MSEK during my time at InfoTorg – 2011). I have taken new innovations to market (“BilWeb”, the first used cars web portal system for car dealers in Sweden, and a “Dealer management system” integrated with access to online vehicle data from Swedish Road and Transport Authority). In both I have held accounts for most of the larger Cars manufacturers/importer organizations in Sweden. I have held longterm relations with both Swedish Cadastre Authority (starting actually in 1990 and still there) and the Swedish Road and Transport Authority (from 1993 to present). I have in this actually been a part of transforming both the development road maps for the authorities as well as affect the actual laws and legislations. To myself, my strengths are mainly my social skills and my strategic mindset. I also have deep knowledge of the data sets I´ve worked with (mainly Geo data and Vehicles) as well as a broad knowledge of persons and company data, having worked with data sets consisting of all those elements in systems and portals using all elements seamlessly.
