About Anders Jorstad

I began my work in accountancy as an intern while studying at Winona State University beginning in operations accounting and mostly clerical Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties in the residential real estate industry. Since graduation I have had the pleasure to also work as an AP accountant in the Hospitality and Food Service and Real Estate Industries and eventually Commercial Real Estate. I am an accountant who is comfortable attending to clients, vendors, and internal customers while effectively managing my time in order to meet hard accounting deadlines. My comfortable demeanor gives me the ability to command taxing situations while encouraging a sensible, composed atmosphere. I have noticed that my detail-oriented work habits and ability to work without much oversight provide me with an ability to achieve maximum proficiency and contribution while my positive attitude and team player mentality will make me a seamless and valuable addition to whichever organization I work in. I am not afraid to admit when I lack a particular insight or sharpness of skill and so I then seek the understanding required to achieve whatever end I am working toward. I am eager to learn more, do more, and contribute in the best ways possible. I enjoy working in a team environment of dynamic and varied types of colleagues of all skill levels and skill sets. I find that through working together to solve problems and streamline efficiency that everyone becomes more skilled and so efficient synergies can then be achieved. I thrive on this aspect of culture.
