About Anderson Rocha

I’m a Full Professor for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Forensics at the Institute of Computing, University of Campinas (Unicamp), Brazil. I received my B.Sc (Computer Science) degree from Federal University of Lavras (UFLA), Brazil in 2003, and my M.Sc. and Ph.D.(Computer Science) from the University of Campinas (Unicamp), Brazil, in 2006 and 2009, respectively. My main interests include Artificial Intelligence and Digital Forensics. I’m an elected affiliate member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences (ABC) and the Brazilian Academy of Forensic Sciences (ABCF). I’m a three-term elected member and a two-time chair of the Information Forensics and Security Technical Committee (IFS-TC). I’m a Microsoft Research, Google Research, Asia-Pacific AI Association, and a Tan Chi Tuan Faculty Fellow. Finally, I have been the principal investigator of a number of research projects in partnership with public funding agencies in Brazil and abroad as well as national and multi-national companies having already deposited and licensed several patents. Finally, I’m an Distinguished Lecturer and an Biometrics Council Distinguished Lecturer as of 2025.
