With over 5 years of experience in government administration and operations management, I am the Director of Unemployment Insurance at State of Nebraska, where I lead the unemployment benefits, tax, and integrity programs for the state. My mission is to provide timely, accurate, and high-quality service to thousands of eligible claimants and employers, while ensuring compliance with federal and state laws and regulations. I am a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and I leverage these methodologies and tools to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction of the unemployment insurance system. I have successfully implemented multiple process improvement initiatives, resulting in reduced errors, faster payments, lower costs, and higher integrity. I am passionate about delivering public services that meet the needs and expectations of the citizens and stakeholders.
