About Andi Hind

Born in Cheshire and trained in Sheffield and London, I began my working career as an Architect working in Berlin, Cape Town, San Francisco and London over a 10 year period. I gained vast experience working in group environments as a team leader as well as working on 'one off' specialist projects and larger team developments. I feel these experiences helped me in my transition to working in New Media as a Digital Design Manager. Trained and worked as an Architect, I transitioned into Digital Media at the turn of the century and worked in various roles gaining experience in project management, design, build and maintenance of web sites as well as marketing and social media. I have worked for large corporate/global organisations (Bank of Scotland & Williams Lea), smaller private firms of 30 to 100 staff (EBS Europe, Charter Group) and Local Government (DSD, SA Health) on a variety of projects over the years. I migrated to South Australia with my family in 2012 and secured a position with The Government of South Australia and currently work for The Department for Innovation and Skills as a Senior Digital Project Officer. Specialties: Having been trained as a designer in the world of Architecture and moved across to New Media. I feel I offer something different from your average graphic or web designer. I have a great interest in visualization, whether that be art, photography or video. I am passionate about digital design and enjoy the daily challenge of keeping up with this fast paced industry and all the fantastic advances in technology.
