Engineering Manager and Process Engineering Technical Authority with over 25 years of experience supporting operated upstream oil & gas assets, including offshore production facilities, compression systems, utilities, and safety critical process units. I specialize in engineering governance, asset integrity, process safety, and brownfield modifications, working across the full facility lifecycle—from concept selection and FEED through detailed engineering, execution, commissioning, start up, and steady state operations. My career spans owner operator organizations, joint venture environments, and EPC engagements, enabling a balanced perspective between technical assurance, operational practicality, and risk management. In my current role as Engineering Manager, I lead multidisciplinary engineering teams providing engineering support to producing assets. I am accountable for maintaining technical integrity, enforcing engineering standards, and ensuring compliance with international codes, corporate specifications, and regulatory requirements. I also support annual asset work programs and budgets, working closely with operations, HSSE, projects, and senior stakeholders. As a Process Engineering Technical Authority, I hold final technical accountability for process design, safety systems, and risk acceptance. This includes defining design philosophies, approving bases of design, chairing HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, and SIMOPS reviews, and acting as approver for management of change (MOC). I am particularly experienced in brownfield tie ins, facility life extension, debottlenecking, and production reliability improvement under live operating conditions. I am known for disciplined engineering judgment, strong ownership of safety critical decisions, and the ability to translate complex technical risks into clear, defensible outcomes aligned with operational and business objectives.
