About Andoni Kareklas

Andoni Kareklas is an architectural planner and designer with a strong foundation in adaptive interventions and rehabilitation. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.S.Arch.) and Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) at Wentworth Institute of Technology, where he has maintained a 4.0 GPA and earned multiple awards for design excellence and innovation. Andoni has contributed to a wide range of architectural projects, from technical cold storage environments to taking part in large-scale commercial real estate developments spanning over 11 million square feet. His experience includes MEP coordination, BIM/VDC modeling, lease plan development, and high-performance life science fit-outs. He is also well-versed in industry-standard tools like AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Rhino, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, Twinmotion, Enscape… He served as a team leader and national finalist in the U.S. Department of Energy’s Solar Decathlon, demonstrating his ability to drive complex, interdisciplinary projects with a focus on real-world application and environmental performance. Additionally, Andoni brings creative versatility through his freelance work; such as designing promotional materials for published authors; blending architectural thinking with graphic communication. Currently working toward ARE and CSL licensure, Andoni is focused on expanding his impact in project and portfolio management, while continuing to deliver design solutions that are innovative, purposeful, and people-centered.
