She currently serves patients who are enrolled in the Substance Abuse Recovery Program (SARP). Her primary focus is to provide opportunities during group sessions for patients to rebuild a healthy leisure lifestyle and explore personal and meaningful habits. Additionally, a large part of Recreation Therapy through SARP is getting the Veterans comfortable with being back out in the community, facing and abstaining from their triggers while practicing sober leisure.
