About Andraz Hribar

I achieved Bachelor of science in Engineering with a graduation thesis Influence of river engineering measures on river morphology of the Notranja Mura River. Last years of study I devoted to writing several professional articles (Varstvo narave, 26 (2012) 27-42; Življenje in tehnika, June 2010) and achieving goals in sport by becoming a world class in orienteering running. In 2011 I accepted a position at Savaprojekt, a company for Development, Planning, Consulting and Engineering. My career has taken me from an engineer through project manager and project director to the company Hidroelektrarne na Spodnji Savi, where I deal with multidisciplinary. In my current position, I develop projects from idea to realization, solve problems and synthesize given facts into a final solution that meets our core buisiness, that is production of energy from renewable sources. My areas of expertise are Water and Rivers, Sediment Management, Wetlands, Environmental Awareness, Sewage, Roads, Service Stations, Pipelines, Landscapes, Civil Engineering, Mediation, Financial reporting, Risk Management and Multidisciplinary Project management. I was and still am involved in projects in the amount of up to 70 million euros. I would describe myself as creative and energetic self-starter.
