About Andre Basrija

I am an auditor at one of the Big 4 global audit firms, with 7+ years of experience in auditing large multinational companies in the oil and gas sector, as well as mining equipment providers operating across the EMEA and APAC regions. Driven by ambition, I consistently achieve performance ratings of 3/4 out of 4, and have followed a smooth career trajectory, reaching the position of Assistant Audit Manager by my sixth year. In this role, I have been entrusted with a business trip to Algeria in December 2024 and January 2025 to conduct meetings and discussions with client's management and audit component team (EY Algeria). Actively engaged in company life, I maintain a work-life balance by participating in various firm activities, such as serving as an event organizer for firm outings, being a speaker at campus hiring event, and competing in several internal competitions. Most recently, in October 2024, I led both event organizing and publication and social media division for my firm's outing event. In addition to that, I was also awarded first place in the Batik Showcase for National Batik Day event. Beyond my professional activities, I devote my leisure during low seasons to developing and expressing my passion in public speaking and entertainment as a content creator. To my surprise, this passion has led to collaborations with notable brands such as Netflix, Miniso, Disney+ Hotstar, Axe, Bukalapak, and Larocking. It's incredibly fulfilling to see a passion turn into a source of income. One day, my friend ever told me that I am a "Divergent" due to my ability and capability in everything and my different ways compared to others. And this is being my spirit and motto in life.
