About Andre Bazzone
I am currently working as a Senior Scientist and Principal Investigator at Nanion Technologies (Munich, since 2021), being the leading scientist for research on membrane transporters using the SURFE2R technology. My main area of responsibility includes R&D projects, proof of concept studies, assay support, and customer training. I am managing a small team of motivated students and employees to spread the SURFE2R technology to the world and accelerate your research! My scientific background: I started my studies of biochemistry in 2005 at the Goethe University in Frankfurt and focused on a training in biophysical techniques, protein science, molecular and cell biology. In 2011 I started my PhD at the Max Planck Institute of Biophysics in Frankfurt, where I worked on membrane transporters using electrophysiology, fluorescence, and radioactive transport assays. Straight after completing my PhD in 2016, I started as an Application Scientist with Nanion Technologies, mainly working in R&D on the SURFE2R product group. I was involved in research projects, product development, marketing, sales, and customer support.
