About Andre Bisson

Practice Background / Sector Experience: Andre commenced his architectural career in the summer of 1991, he stayed within the same practice for almost 12 years which is where he learnt all aspects of architecture from his colleagues, particularly his employer who not only taught him good design and presentation skills, but also a great mentor in life on how to maintain diplomacy at all times whatever situation may arise. Andre completed his teenage education at La Mare De Carteret Secondary school in 1991, where he achieved the highest grades in Art, CDT, Mathematics and English. Art has always played a huge part in Andres life right from an early age, a natural talent, one that he could always fall back and rely on to lift his mood if needs be, Andre firmly believes that Art plays a large role in enabling creativity to flourish within the Architectural workplace and forms the back bone of their work. Initially A7 Design was created to fill a gap in the market place to provide a freelance architecture service to many of the busy architectural practices already on the island, which proved to be a huge success, this also enabled Andre to extend his technical knowledge by working with other professionals within the industry and adapt to each of their particular drawing styles. Since 2003 to present Andre has taken A7 Design from strength to strength, quadrupling his client base and expanding the business in 2011 by relocating his practice to a spacious, light and airy office at Westerbrook in St. Sampsons. Andre believes that he has been fortunate over the years since he began trading and has worked on some truly prestigious and spectacular projects, within all spectrums of both the commercial and domestic environment.
