Currently, I am a junior accounting major at Miami University in the Farmer School of Business. At Miami, I have taken multiple business courses outside of the accounting field, such as supply chain management, information systems, and marketing. My hard work and determination has helped me get through my classes and have led me to where I am today. This upcoming summer, I am planning to be an audit intern at BDO in Minneapolis. I am hoping to learn more about the audit field, and gain some real-world experience. Through this internship, I am hoping to develop my professional communication skills and my ability to work with accounting information systems. I am hoping to stay for a 5th year here at Miami, and come out with my 150 hours to be eligible to take the CPA exam and also come out with my master's in accountancy.
