As President and Chief Technology Officer of By Design, I am working with our staff and partners to create new cameras and other precision optical component designs. We will be either selling these ourselves in partnership with others or licensing the new, and very unique and highly functional, camera module designs for others to include as part of their end products. This new business is intended and targeted specifically to be complementary to rather than competitive with customers and partnering organizations that either manufacture cameras or other precision opto-electronic products and/or automation equipment to manufacture these products. In the future, we also plan to expand in to the area of design and new product introduction (NPI) support services for other precision applications and markets. In my previous position as founder and Chief Technology Officer at AEi (Automation Engineering Incorporated) from 1990 until 2014, my primary objective was to support maintaining AEi's position as a world leader in the design and provision of manufacturing equipment for camera module and other precision opto-electronics/photonics products using active optical alignment technology. We accomplished this by developing and deploying fastest cycle times and most advanced alignment algorithms for high end devices and applications in the automotive, mobile, consumer electronics, security and surveillance, opto-electronics, medical device and aerospace markets to name a few. AEi continues to innovate and optimize its technology in partnership with many industry leading customers to provide modular manufacturing solutions around the world. From product design consultation for manufacturability to high volume mass production equipment solutions, AEi's combination of technology, engineering and support provided our customers with the ability to deliver higher quality products with greater throughput and yield to their end customers, giving them a competitive edge.
