My name is Andre and I have nearly four years of professional software engineering experience. I am proficient in a variety of stacks and technologies including AWS, Kotlin and Spring Boot, Java, MERN, Python, GraphQL, Splunk and so on. My experience with backend engineering includes leading development over database reading and writing refactoring increasing call speeds by 20%, closely monitoring metrics through service migrations while detailing costs of migration and ideating best fit service components for new systems to address product requirements just to name a few. Building upon adjacent learnings, I have leveraged a wealth of different approaches to target product goals and have been able to thoroughly bridge system capabilities to meet customer needs. My deep fascination of patterns allows me to delve into intricacies of services, the system components and contribute to its reliability and performance.
