About Andre Duminy

As a partner in the London office of Kirkland & Ellis International LLP, I focus on structuring, negotiating, and closing complex contracts across global markets - from stand-alone outsourcings, long-term commercial partnerships, strategic technology and IP licensing and manufacturing and distribution arrangements that underpin multi-jurisdictional companies, to the most challenging M&A carve-outs and separation projects. My ability to negotiate and close transactions is, without a doubt, my strength: I actively help our clients to identify and focus on the things that really matter, and give them the confidence to make the right but difficult decisions, when the time comes. This allows businesses to get on with it, instead of being bogged down for weeks and months in endless debates on fine legal points. Clients take significant comfort from the fact that I bring more than 25 years' worth of experience to bear. I operate across many industries and sectors, although a significant amount of my work has tended to be in the financial services, TMT, consumer goods & retail, pharmaceutical and manufacturing sectors, where it is critical to combine a deep understanding of sector-specific regulation and market practice with practical solutions. On a personal level, I am very focused on what the future holds - not just for myself, but for my children and generations still to come.
