About Andre Jansing

Already when I was at school, I was fascinated by the world of insurance. It was therefore very easy for me to decide in which industry I would like to start my career. I have been following this passion for more than ten years now and am delighted every day to be able to successfully make my contribution to the industry - whether with colleagues in the office or with enthusiastic persuasion in private! During my dual studies, I gained business knowledge and learned the insurance tools of the trade. Parallel to this, I worked in operative core business areas and thus learned from the bottom up. Since the end of my studies, I have been driven to different stations: First in IT and then in Corporate Controlling, my focus was entirely on data analysis and preparation (Excel, TM1 and SAP) as well as communication (PowerPoint). For more than five years, I have been working in project management and use the opportunity to fully utilize my analytical and communication skills and grow with the daily changing challenges. Since 2016, I have also been working part-time at my former UAS. As a mentor for students, I accompany them in the writing of their scientific papers and evaluate them. In addition, I also hold the course 'Fundamentals of Scientific Work' in a job-sharing model. In my private life, I am especially passionate about traveling as well as discovering foreign cultures and doing sports.
