About Andre Johnson

Andre (AJ) Johnson joined General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) in November 2025 and functions as a Systems Engineering Senior Manager. He leads software development advancements directly contributing to the improved safety and security of US commerce and defense. AJ is a former Air Force Colonel/O-6 cyber professional with 25+ years of leadership experience, a TS/SCI, an MBA, and a B.S. in Information Systems Management. He additionally is a PMP candidate who formerly functioned as the Military Deputy for the Program Executive Office for Spectrum within the Defense Information Systems Agency, Fort Meade, Maryland. His responsibilities included supplemental direct support to the Director of the Defense Information Systems Agency as the Senior Air Force Advisor and cyber talent manager. Andre has been trusted to command and lead over 2,700 personnel, served exceptionally in a variety of cyber, information technology and software development positions and excelled as an action officer and project manager on the United States Africa Command and Headquarters Air Force (Pentagon) staffs. Andre continues to enjoy connecting with progressive leading-edge professionals.
