About Andre L. Wright

Since 2009, Andre Wright has been widely known for many things, but the most meaningful have been his dedicated work as a mental health Program Director and Senior Business Developer in Southeastern Florida. Utilizing his admiration for serving others, coupled with his collegiate background in psychology/sociology from NYIT, Andre put his passion to use by becoming a devoted mentor and influential figure within the therapeutic treatment world. His widespread impact began at FIL, Inc. in Coconut Creek, FL, where he was an incredible advocate, not only for his clients and their families, but for the community at-large. There, Andre spent his career assisting individuals with developmental disabilities and other mental health diagnoses, navigate their lives successfully, despite their exceptionalities. Whether a Resident Support Professional/Client Liaison, Special Olympics Coordinator, Day-Programming Enrichment Coach, Vocational Specialist, or Program Director, Andre left his signature mark wherever he served. He later took his overall influence to new heights as he expanded his reach within the mental health field where he was selected to serve on reputable Regional Committees and National Therapeutic Boards by way of The National Association of Therapeutic Schools & Programs (NATSAP). There, Andre’s program leadership experience and consistent work within the treatment, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) spaces, truly left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.
