About Andre Lamontagne

As a seasoned business executive, I am known for combining my analytical skills and business knowledge to develop and execute innovative strategies. My ability to visualise and communicate the big picture leads to the identification of gaps and creation of opportunities which directly increases business sales and drives profitability. My insight into leadership, people management, organisational behaviour and innovation comes from my early promotion to R&D manager. Those skills were further recognised by my promotion to site leader of Servomex Canadian office, my sponsorship for formal business development and appointment as COO of AFP with full P&L responsability. With the combination of my skills, I developed a strategy to fill a gap in a product portfolio. The meticulous development, execution and implementation of the strategy led to the introduction of a new disruptive product for the semiconductor industry providing the business with new incremental sales. Throughout my career, I acquired an international experience. This was reinforced by my relocation from Canada to the UK to lead the transfer of the Canadian operation. During the transfer, I had the opportunity to lead a multidisciplinary and multicultural team. The business integration resulted in product quality and process efficiency improvements increasing product gross margin and business profitability. This successful transfer was complemented by a creative organisational model that I successfully designed and implemented to improve customer intimacy and empower employees. My involvement in a variety of projects and my exposure to different business areas like R&D, operations, marketing, finance, merger and acquisition and change management provides me with a broad set of skills to develop a business with organic and inorganic (M&A and partnership) strategies.
