About Andre Rocha

After two years as an Operations Associate divided between Operations and Continuous Improvement, I received a promotion to Operations Supervisor. During this period, I was able to hone the following skills: Communication. While developing a 5 S project, I effectively addressed all the regulations and needs of different departments (Safety, Food Safety, Maintenance, and Operations) to complete it successfully. I leveraged the company's social media app to communicate new technologies and new projects, either to the general audience or by creating groups for specific ones. Technologies. My team was responsible for determining the best setup, deploying, and troubleshooting an automated downtime tracking system developed by a contractor. I helped develop a Corporate Power BI downtime tracking report that leverages the OSIsoft PI technology. Building upon this technology, my team set up a historical product run rate analysis and incorporated it into a Corporate Efficiency dashboard. We also set up calculations and displays for real-time efficiency monitoring. All the equations developed became models for other facilities. I also developed several Power Apps (Microsoft) to improve processes, like creating audit apps linked to Power BI (Microsoft) reports and one to build and maintain Efficiency Models. I also developed one to help manage a crisis in the employees' time punch system. Training/Coaching. I helped onboard new hires, train stakeholders on new technologies, and helped people transition into new roles. I am comfortable sharing any knowledge I might have acquired and documenting it for future reference.
