About Andre Rodgers

I am a Kennesaw State University graduate with a Bachelor of Apparel & Textile from the School of Industrial Engineering Technology. Throughout my time at KSU, I learned how to work with and utilize key Adobe applications such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, and InDesign. In addition to working with Adobe apps, I also acquired knowledge of industry workings through classes such as Quality Assurance, Fashion Merchandising, Fabric Formation and Design, Fashion Forecasting & Trends, and Apparel Computer-Aided Design. While studying at KSU, I began working as a Softlines Team Member at Target, where I then was promoted to a Visual Merchandiser Team Lead position in a little under a year. After working as a Visual Lead for around a year and a half, I moved on to a Backroom Team Lead position and then to a General Merchandise Team Lead position,(after Target underwent some internal restructuring). Around the end of 2019, I moved to Savannah, GA and pursued a new opportunity as a Department Manager for H&M where I am responsible for multiple aspects of the business such as day to day operations, visual merchandising, and managing around 13 sales advisors. I am passionate about multiple facets of both the fashion and retail industries and I am constantly striving to utilize my knowledge and expertise in order to best benefit the business and those around me.
