About Andre Silva

I'm an architect and designer with a strong interest in how space, materials, and storytelling intersect. My work moves between architecture, furniture, and object design, often exploring themes of identity, queerness, and the emotional impact of physical environments. Currently, I'm developing Daddy Cool Studios, a multidisciplinary design studio focused on bold, expressive pieces that blend industrial materials with sculptural form. I’m especially interested in how design can provoke, invite, and challenge, using raw materials to create work that’s both functional and visceral. With a background in architecture and experience across creative spatial design and concept development, I bring a thoughtful, hands-on approach to each project. Whether I’m designing a piece of furniture, detailing a Stage 4 drawing, or collaborating on interiors, I care deeply about detail, narrative, and impact.
