About Andre Yusak

Andre has 16 years of practice in the Urban Planning, Urban Design and Architecture Industry. In his first 4 years of his career, he handled a wide spectrum of Singapore’s governmental regulations, specializing in designing and supervising the construction of private condominiums and landed houses in Singapore. In 2010, his prior experience and ongoing passion for Urban Studies had inspired him to pursue further study at NUS MA(Urban Design). He met Mr Jeffrey Ho (MD of SJ Planning, and a guest lecturer at that time) and get offered to grow and be part of his team in April 2011. In his career with Surbana Jurong, he has grown to become one of the notable experts in the field. He has obtained his Full Planner Status, recognized and awarded title as One of the Five Singapore Young Planners under 40, announced during the Individual Excellence Category (SIP Bi-Annual Award 2021). As the Planning Project Manager of Walini TOD Master Plan Development 2035, he lead the planning team and received a Bronze Award for the project, under Excellence in Planning >500Ha & Up to from the 7th SIP Planning Awards 2021. He executed up to 50 international projects at various engagement levels. He has managed urban projects as small as 8Ha/20 acres to acres, which he has developed rich, and diversified insight of various project scales, from strategic planning, urban planning, urban design and architecture. Beyond technical capabilities, he is also exposed to business development, multi-disciplinary coordination, client management, and team leadership. His market exposures are Southeast, East and South Asian Countries, with a current focus on the Pakistan market. Currently he is the lead masterplanner for successful projects such as Capital Smart City and New Lahore Smart City in Pakistan.
