About Andrea Baker

My career encompasses more than fifteen years’ of professional experience in organizational and employee workplace health and wellness. I aspire to help companies understand the importance and ever-growing need for employee wellness programs. I have demonstrated skills in program and strategy development and implementation of these programs. As the front line contact for senior leaders, managers, customers, and stakeholders, I am a motivated, organized, resourceful, patient, and a supportive resource. I really enjoy interacting with people at all levels; I excel at working in team settings that collaborate to meet deadlines, produce high-quality results, and exceed goals in fast-paced environments. My background has always been strongly rooted in health and wellness. From an early age my passion for participating in sports led me to pursue an education in Kinesiology. After graduation I was afforded an opportunity to enter into the field of health and wellness which has allowed me use my education and enthusiasm for healthy living to assist organizations with caring for their most valuable asset, their employees. A few of my specific accomplishments include, supporting clients in the development and implementation of customized wellness strategies, developing, pilot testing and revising two comprehensive workplace health programs, promoting and rolling out an online health and wellness platform to customers, developing a workplace health audit tool for addition into the Certificate of Recognition program in Alberta, and the development of training materials and workplace health and wellness resources.
