About Andrea Bale

I am the Communications & Engagement Manager in the Sustainability Office at the University of Waterloo. My work supports the planning and implementation of events, campaigns, programs, collaborations and communications related to sustainability, both on campus and in the broader community. Previously, I worked at Reep Green Solutions as the Customer Engagement and Outreach Coordinator, where I gained valuable experience working with homeowners on energy-efficiency, stormwater management, water conservation and waste reduction initiatives. I completed my Master of Environmental Studies at the University of Waterloo in Environment, Resources, and Sustainability, focusing on principles of behavioural and environmental psychology to encourage sustainable energy transitions in the residential sector. Prior to this, I completed my Bachelor of Science at McMaster University where I focused on environmental science, psychology and mathematics.
